More on the Animation

I started to put come clips together so I have an idea of how the animation is looking like. I am using both target and free cameras (sometimes with path constraints and sometimes just static) to record the animation. I am doing it in short clips that I am putting together in Sony Vegas Pro. I decided to use Sony Vegas Pro because, unlike Windows Movie Maker, it allows me to use multiple audio tracks.

TO IMPROVE 3ds Max PERFORMANCE and to make my life a bit easier I am cutting the whole animation in short scenes (usually 120 frames long (6 seconds)) that I do one by one. So my line of working so far is something like this:

(So far I have always used the same scenario and I just change the props)

1- Spawn the ships that will be used.
2- Create the path that they will follow (Path Constraint)
3- Spawn and place the cameras that will be used to record
4- Use paths to make the cameras move as I want to.
5- Add the props only in the parts of the animation that are visible by the camera (very important at the time of render it), like trees and snow.
6- Record the animation
7- Remove everything except the scenario
8- Cleanse and repeat.

Here are some screenshots of the recordings:

The edition with Sony Vegas Pro: As you can see, I can add as many audio tracks as I want. I know that audio doesn't count for the final marks but it gives the animation a much better result I think, plus I think it is entertaining to do so :).
